Youthwork
Matech runs several youthwork projects and courses, such as the Matech Video Project and Matech Backstage.
Matech aims to achieve 3 things in its youthwork:
1. Help young people to develop new skills
Skills such as learning how to use equipment, working with others and communication.
2. Encourage young people to discover new interests & hobbies
Helping young people to engage in positive activities which they can keep as hobbies and interests to develop in the future.
3. Equipping for the future
Using the skills they have learnt in the future at school or even in an audio-visual related job.
