Matech Video Project

The Matech Video Project is an exciting project for young people.

The project has 3 aims:
1 . Provide positive activities for young people to engage with
2. Enhance young people's skills and knowledge
3. Promote and develop work by local community groups

The project is run in 5 sessions:

1. Introduction and equipment workshop
2. Filming skills workshop
3. Editing skills workshop
4. Advanced editing workshop
5. Presentation, film premiere and awards

Between sessions 2 and 3 groups of young people have the opportunity to go out and film footage for their chosen project. They come back to learn how to edit the footage ready for the premiere and presentation at the end of the project.
