Our Staff

Here at Matech we are a small team of specialists ready to come and help at your event, run workshops, film and edit your event, or PAT test your equipment.

We currently have four members of staff, each with their own specialisms in specific areas. All staff have a good working knowledge of sound, lighting and video equipment.

David L - Technician specialising in sound and youthwork

David graduated from Coventry University in 2008 with a BA in Music Composition and Professional Practice. Having lived in Guildford most of his life, David has long been involved with youth work along with technical work in the local area. David is excited by developing the youth training and projects Matech provides along with our other services.

David Curran - Director

David graduated from the University of Surrey with a BSc degree in Technology Entrepreneurship. David is married, has lived in Guildford for most of his life and has been involved in operating audio-visual equipment at local events and functions for many years. He has been involved in local youth work and is currently the visual coordinator at the church he attends. David is the founder and director of Matech and is looking forward to progressing the company's training services.
